What kind of learner are you?

Ever wondered why you can't grasp a topic when others in the class understand it straight away?  There might be a good reason for that.  Watch this video and see if you can identify what type of learning you benefit from most.

Now complete the questions on this quiz to find out your preferred learning style.

These were my scores which were not really a surprise to me. I love using images (visual) and I like creating things (kinesthetic).

Did your scores surprise you?

How do you think my preferred learning style might affect how you learn?

You can answer that question by adding a comment to this post.

Now it is time for you to post to your blog!

Create a blogpost explaining your preferred learning style.  State the kinds of strategies you could use to help you learn.   Have a look at the apps listed on the sidebar of this blog. Which one (or more) interests you? If you find an app you like which doesn't seem to be your preferred learning style, that's fine - we are all a little bit of a mixture.

Don't forget to use some of these learning criteria in your post.

Session 1: What is a blog?

For the Lifelong unit of the L2 Diploma in Accounting you will be creating your own blog to keep a personal record of your learning throughout the course.

You can watch this video to find out more about blogs.

Or click here to see to see this information in an infographic which I created using Piktochart.  Infographics let you see all the information at once.

Or you might like to print information out to read later.  You can do that here

When you create your own blog you can choose activities which match your own learning style.
